Fugitive Arrested In Hamden: Police
The man was wanted on felony warrants out of several states, according to police.

HAMDEN, CT — A man who was wanted on numerous felony warrants out of several states was recently arrested in Hamden, according to police. On Aug. 21, Hamden Police responded to an Aspen Glen Drive residence to serve an arrest warrant on Jared Lee Mende, who was wanted on felony warrants originating from California, Oregon and Washington, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Mende, 36, of the 1700 block of Aspen Glen Drive, was arrested and charged with fugitive from justice. He was held on a $500,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Aug. 22. To sign up for Hamden breaking news alerts and more, click here.
