Girl, 17, Stabbed In Chest During Fight: Hamden Police
Police are investigating after a teen was stabbed during a fight with another girl in Hamden.

HAMDEN, CT — A 17-year-old girl was hospitalized after being stabbed in the chest and arm during a fight with another girl Monday evening in Hamden, according to police. At about 6:30 p.m. on July 23, Hamden Police responded to a Cherry Ann Street residence on the report of a stabbing, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said investigation revealed that a 17-year-old Hamden resident was engaged in a physical altercation with another female in a nearby parking lot. The teen was subsequently stabbed in the chest and arm and was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to Smith. Police were unable to locate the female responsible for the stabbing.
