Gunfire Investigated In Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — Police are investigating a report of gunfire on Bryden Place Aug. 20.

A witness told officers that a person in a silver vehicle fired several shots toward a residence on the street, said Capt. Ronald Smith, police spokesman.

"Further investigation revealed that the occupant inside of the vehicle fired numerous gunshots towards another 'moving motor vehicle,” Smith said. "Several shell casing were located at the scene."

There were no reported injuries.
