Gunmen Carjack Woman Overnight In Hamden: Police

Police are investigating after a woman was robbed of her vehicle and iPhone by two masked men during the overnight hours in Hamden.

HAMDEN, CT — Police are investigating a reported carjacking in which a woman was ordered out of her vehicle at gunpoint and robbed of her iPhone 8 early Thursday morning. Police responded to the area of Circular Avenue and Bradley Avenue at about 1:50 a.m. on June 21 on the report of a carjacking, according to Sgt. Anthony Diaz.

The victim told police that she was approached by two black males and ordered out of her vehicle at gunpoint. One of the suspects drove away with her vehicle southbound on Circular Avenue, while the other ran away after telling the other suspect that he would meet him down the street,” according to Diaz.

The two men were described as wearing all black with facemasks on, with one of them having dreadlocks. There were no reported injuries.
