The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Hamden is in a fiscal crisis, now more than ever, restraint is required, spending and bonding must freeze. We must stop the bleeding. I’ve been the voice of restraint and fiscal conservancy, sounding the alarm about the dangers of the towns spending habits.

I will continue to fight for all the taxpayers, vote against more bonding and unneeded spending. I will make my voice heard loud and clear as in the past.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

First of all, I think we all want what’s best for our town. That being said, I think their platform is similar to mine, but, we have different goals and ways to resolve the issues and financial problems facing Hamden today.

List other issues that define your campaign platform:

Fiscal responsibility and transparency in all town departments.

Hold the line on BOE spending while maintaining the highest standard of education for all our children.

Taxes, 6th highest mill rate in CT.

Tax incentives for our seniors

Be available to our citizens to voice their concerns and ideas to help Hamden

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I have held firm on my beliefs of what is best for the taxpayers of Hamden, and will continue to fight for them. I will cross party lines to find solutions to the critical issues facing our town today.

The best advice ever shared with me was ...

Stay true to yourself, fight for what you think is right, treat everybody equally, and always be yourself.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am honest, do what I think is in the best interest of the town and taxpayers. I am not afraid to stand up, speak up, even if I am the only one, to vote for or against what I think is right.
