Hamden Columbus Day Parade Canceled

HAMDEN, CT — The Columbus Day Parade in Hamden has been canceled, despite previous plans to hold it as scheduled.

Read the official statement below:

“Unfortunately, due to the change in the weather forecast from 9 a.m. (when the initial decision to move forward was made) and based on the recommendation of the Columbus Day Committee and our Guardian Chiefs that the Town err on the side of caution, the Columbus Day Parade has been cancelled.”
