Hamden Community Emergency Response Team Basic Training Class

Hamden CERT Basic Class #16 starts on September 4th.

Learn the skills necessary to protect yourself, your family, friends and neighbors during any large or small scale emergency!

The Hamden Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will be conducting their annual CERT Training Program starting on Wednesday, September 4th, 2019 at 6:30 pm. The CERT training is available at no charge. The 8 week course consists of how to make critical decisions during every day emergencies or any major incident. CERT Training gives you the skills and equipment to prepare for emergencies and be able to protect yourselves, your family, friends and neighbors.We will also discuss some of the major events that have impacted our communities throughout the nation and how we can be prepared for similar incidents. After completion of the course, you will receive a National Certified FEMA Certificate of Completion and be eligible to join our local team.
