Hamden DUI Driver Crashes Into McDonald’s: Middletown Police

A Hamden man is accused of operating under the influence after crashing into a McDonald's in Middletown, according to police.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A Hamden man was arrested after he crashed into the side of a McDonald’s in Middletown on Sunday evening, according to police. Middletown Police responded to the McDonald’s, located at 914 Washington St., just before 7 p.m. on March 24 on the report of a vehicle that crashed into the side of the building.

Samuel Crain II, 27, of Hamden, is accused of crashing into the side of the building near the drive thru. He then drove to a parking stall area, police said.

He was charged with reckless driving and DUI.
