The Hamden Hurricanes are the 2018 Pop Warner Division 3 National Champions.
On Friday, June 14, 2018 the Hurricanes revealed their new uniforms at Hamden Middle School. Player, J.J Gibson designed the uniform. He is 13 years old and the team's quarterback.
For the last seven years the boys worn the same uniform. The uniforms
were tattered and torn. During the last four years, the boys only had a green uniform. The white uniform was unwearable. The team would have to lobby the opposing team to wear their white uniform, otherwise, the Hurricanes would have to forfeit the game.

Now with a strong fiscal management, parents, and supporters the Hurricanes have new uniforms. They will also be getting new cheerleading uniforms shortly.
