Hamden Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting 14-Year-Old Girl: PD

HAMDEN, CT — A Hamden man is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl at her home in Monroe and at a movie theater in Milford, according to the Connecticut Post.

The Post reports Ifa Gordon Jr., 22, of First Street, has been charged in the Monroe case and Milford Police are also expected to bring charges against him. Gordon was arrested April 23 on charges of first-degree sexual assault, fourth-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a child and enticing a minor by computer, according to state judicial records. He is being held on a $50,000 bond with a court date of May 7.

Police say Gordon, who is a friend of the Monroe family, admitted to having sex with the girl but claimed it was consensual, according to the Post.
