Hamden Man Charged After New Haven Shooting: PD
Police quickly developed leads into the case.
NEW HAVEN, CT — Two men were arrested after a shooting on Munson Street left a 20-year-old man injured May 3.
A handgun was found near the scene and leads led police to obtain arrest warrants for Sandre Williams, 19, of New Haven and Kaheel Carmon, 21, of Hamden, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman.
Carmon was picked up at his home May 8 and Williams was taken into custody after being spotted in a car. Both were taken into custody without incident.

Williams was charged with first-degree assault, conspiracy and carrying a pistol without a permit. Carmon was charged with the same plus first-degree reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a pistol.
