MILFORD, CT — A Hamden man is accused of driving while under the influence of alcohol in Milford, police said. On July 6, police stopped a vehicle on Old Gate Lane near Woodmont Road after seeing the vehicle being driven erratically, police said. Investigation led to the arrest of Theodore Haussler, 55, of Fourth Street in Hamden, who is accused of providing a breath sample, which showed him to have an elevated blood alcohol content, police said. He is charged with DUI and given a court date of Aug. 9.
