Hamden Man Sentenced to Federal Prison for Distributing Heroin, Crack
Authorities say "White Boy Shawn" helped run a drug ring that delivered heroin and crack cocaine in several shoreline communities.

HAMDEN, CT — A 32-year-old Hamden man was sentenced Tuesday to more than seven years in federal prison for distributing heroin and crack cocaine, according to authorities.
Shawn Miller, also known as “White Boy Shawn,” was also sentenced to five years of supervised release after serving the prison term and ordered to pay a $2,000 fine, U.S. States Attorney Deirdre M. Daly announced in a press release.
Miller and Paul Colon, also known as “Paul Cane,” operated a New Haven-area narcotics distribution ring, according to court documents and statements made in court.

The investigation revealed that members of the ring took orders over a cellphone from drug customers in several shoreline communities for quantities of heroin and crack cocaine, and then delivered the drugs by car, according to the press release.
Miller was arrested on October 21, 2015 and he pleaded guilty in June to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, heroin and cocaine base (“crack cocaine”).
