NEW HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating after a Hamden man was shot around midnight in New Haven.
Police were dispatched to Winchester Avenue and Bassett Street at midnight Jan. 24, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman.
A 21-year-old Hamden man was shot in the arm. The injury is non-life threatening.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the shooting, to phone them at 203-946-6304. Calls may be made anonymously.
