Hamden Mayor to Present Proposed 2017-2018 Town Budget

Mayor Curt Balzano Leng will also deliver his State of the Town address on March 8.

From the Town of Hamden: Mayor Curt Balzano Leng will present the Mayor’s Proposed 2017-2018 Town Budget to the Hamden Legislative Council on Wednesday, March 15th at 7:00 p.m. in the Legislative Council Chambers at Memorial Town Hall. Memorial Town Hall is located at 2900 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden, CT 06518.

Mayor Leng will provide a recap of the State of the Town address, which is scheduled to be held March 8th in the Legislative Council Chambers at Memorial Town Hall, along with specifics regarding his proposed budget for the 2017-2018 fiscal year. This event is open to the public and light refreshments will be served.

Commenting on the upcoming address, Mayor Leng said, “I look forward to delivering my proposal to the Hamden Legislative Council, and I am hopeful that members of the public will attend and learn more about Hamden’s budget process. It is my goal to ensure that Hamden remains on the path towards a secure and responsible financial future, and I am confident that my recommended budget for FY2017-2018 will accomplish these goals. I hope to see a great crowd on March 15th.”
