Hamden Package Store’s Liquor License Recently Suspended
They were among 27 businesses that had their liquor licenses suspended between February and April by the state Liquor Control Commission.

HAMDEN, CT — Between February and April, 27 Connecticut businesses, including one in Hamden, had their liquor licenses suspended, according to information from the Department of Consumer Protection's Liquor Control Commission.
Bottoms Up Package Store in Hamden was fined $500 and had its license suspended on April 10 for sale to a minor, according to the state’s website. (To sign up for Hamden breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Suspensions around Connecticut ranging from one to 10 days and fines between $250 and $8,250 were meted out for offenses such as selling liquor to minors, sanitation, minors in barrooms, improper touching or exposure, minor dancer violations and disposing of liquor without a permit.
