Hamden Plains Neighbors to Hold Potluck

Hamden Plains neighbors are invited to meet one another and learn about a new civic association

HAMDEN- The newly formed Hamden Plains Neighborhood Alliance would like to invite all neighbors who reside in the Hamden Plains Neighborhood to a “Potluck” in the park. This event is scheduled for Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 12pm to 4pm at the Frank Cesare Field (formerly Hamden Plains Park) on Blue Hills Avenue.

The Hamden Plains neighborhood is a triangle, bordered by Route 15 on the northwest, the Farmington Canal to the East and Woodin Street to the South.

“The purpose of this event is to bring all of our neighbors together for a meet and greet,” said Chris Vega, who founded and organized the Neighborhood Alliance along with his wife, Karim. “Our vision is to bring everyone together and promote our neighborhood through health, safety, and beautification initiatives and most importantly, helping each other.”
