Hamden Police Make Arrest in Connection to ACES Bomb Threat
A teen was charged for the February incident.

Hamden police have arrested a juvenile in connection with calling in a bomb threat to the Whitney High North (ACES) school in February.
Sgt. Anthony Diaz said in a press release that the juvenile was charged Thursday with first-degree threatening and falsely reporting an incident.
The juvenile was issued a Juvenile Summons and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Juvenile Court on April 2.

The arrest stems from the incident that occurred on Feb. 27, when Hamden Police responded to Whitney High North (ACES), 205 Skiff Street on the report of a bomb threat.
The call came in hours after a bomb threat was made at Hamden High School.

The building was searched and no explosives were found.
Detective Sean Dolan of the Major Crimes Unit conducted a lengthy investigation which resulted in the application of the arrest warrant, which was approved by the court.
