Hamden Police Seize More Than 300 Grams of Marijuana in Drug Bust
Officers executed a search warrant early Thursday morning following an extensive investigation.

Hamden police executed a drug bust following an extensive investigation and seized more than 300 grams of marijuana, with an estimated street value of $6,3640, on Thursday morning.
Police Capt. Ronald Smith said that at about 6 a.m. members of the Hamden Police Department Street Interdiction Team, Special Response Team and New Haven Police Department Shooting Task Force executed a search warrant at 60 Bowen Street.
The search warrant was the result of an extensive investigation into drug sales, according to Smith.

Officers subsequently seized 318.2 grams of marijuana (estimated street value of $6,364). Smith said that officers also seized $610.
Lawrence Hinman, 22, of 60 Bowen Street in Hamden, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell and two counts of risk of injury to a minor. Hinman, who was detained on a $25,000 bond, is scheduled to appear at Meriden Superior Court on March 12.
