Hamden Woman Wins $10K on ‘Replay’ KENO Ticket

The winning ticket was sold at a convenience store in Hamden.

HAMDEN, CT — Latosha Saunders of Hamden is a regular KENO player and was exhilarated when her “Replay” Quick Pick ticket earned her $10,000.

“Once I saw that (matching number) — I started to scream,” Saunders told Lottery officials. “I had Quick Pick numbers and replayed the second ticket.”

After seeing her numbers drawn on the KENO monitor, Saunders went home to surprise her husband with the wonderful news.

After rechecking her numbers on CTLOTTERY.ORG, Saunders knew she had to visit the CT Lottery headquarters in Rocky Hill. Saunders looks to share her winnings with her family and continue working at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Saunders won $5,000 for matching 7 out of 7 numbers on her $1 ticket in game #37572. Since the bonus multiplier was 2X, Saunders’ prize was automatically multiplied to $10,000.

Saunders’ winning ticket was sold at Minute Mart located on 280 Circular Avenue in Hamden.
