Hamden's Brooksvale Fall Festival 2019: Details Announced

The 20th annual festival will feature pony rides, a haunted hayride, a climbing wall, live local music and more. Read details here.

HAMDEN, CT — The 20th annual Brooksvale Fall Festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28 at Brooksvale Park in Hamden. The rain date is Sept. 29. Brooksvale Park is located in northern Hamden at 524 Brooksvale Ave., 1 mile off Whitney Avenue (Route 10).

This year’s festival will feature a variety of outdoor festivities, including pony rides, a tractor-drawn hayride through a haunted forest, Bird of Prey show, and a climbing wall. There will also be a Kid’s Zone with free activities and nature crafts along with demonstrations by Hamden Police Department’s K-9 unit, a pumpkin patch, and Friends of Brooksvale Bake Sale. Live local music including Steve Rogers & Friends, great food, and displays on time honored crafts such as Beekeeping & Blacksmithing, and a working House Wright. Environmental exhibitors & natural crafters will be on the field—there is still room for additional exhibitors / crafters and volunteers, so please contact Ranger Vinny if interested (203-287-2669).

Admission to the event and parking is free. Cash is required for ticket purchases for some activities with no activity costing more than $5. Food vendors and crafters also require cash. Please note that there is no ATM or wireless access at the park.
