Have You Seen This Man? Hamden Police Are Looking for Him

Police say the man grabbed an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register at 7-Eleven in a recent larceny case: BREAKING

HAMDEN, CT — Hamden Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a theft from the 7-Eleven on Dixwell Avenue early Tuesday morning.

Police responded to the store, located at 1795 Dixwell Avenue, at about 4:45 a.m. on Sept. 6 on the report of a larceny, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Smith said investigation revealed that a man approached the cash register with a bottle of water and as the clerk opened the register, the suspect reached over the counter and grabbed an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect was seen fleeing in a dark-colored SUV, according to Smith.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 50 years old and is 6-feet, 1-inch tall. The man had a tattoo on his right forearm and was wearing a “Red Sox” baseball cap.
