Heroin Seized In Drug Arrests: Hamden PD

Two men were caught in a drug sale, police said.

HAMDEN, CT — Two men were arrested after they were caught in a drug sale April 16, according to police.

Police got a number of complaints about drug dealing in the area of Armstrong and Welton streets.

Officers saw Thomas Frizell, 31, of East Haven and Dandre Deshields, 21, of Hamden conduct a transaction and seized seven bags of heroin worth $315, said Capt. Ronald Smith, police spokesman.

Frizell was charged with possession of narcotics and was released after posting a $2,500 bond.

Deshields was charged with sale of narcotics and was held on $10,000 bail.
