Hundreds Of THC-Infused Items Seized From Home: Hamden Police

A man was arrested after police seized hundreds of THC-infused items, including vape cartridges and gummies, and more than $9.4K in cash.

HAMDEN, CT — A Hamden man was arrested after police seized hundreds of THC-infused items, more than 1 kilogram of marijuana and more than $9,400 in cash from his home on Tuesday. Members of the Hamden Police Department Street Interdiction Team and Emergency Services Unit executed a search warrant on March 5 at a home in the 300 block of Paradise Avenue. The search warrant was the result of an extensive investigation by the Street Interdiction Team, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Smith said officers located and seized 1,112.2 grams of marijuana, 229 packages of THC-infused vape cartridges, 122 packages of “THC gummies,” 93 jars containing THC resin and $9,420.

Kyle Manny, 30, of Paradise Avenue, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of over 1 kilogram of marijuana with the intent to sell. Manny, who was detained on a $25,000 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on March 19.
