Letter: Thanks For Making Hamden’s Fireworks Display A Success

To the Editor:

Thank you to everyone who contributed to make The Hamden 25th Anniversary Independence Day Celebration on June 29th a success. We had good weather, great entertainment and a Spectacular Fireworks Display brought to us by International Fireworks Mfg. Co. The people who support our efforts year after year, everyone who mailed us in a donation, made a PAYPAL donation, put money in the bucket at Stop & Shop or filled our buckets at the fireworks or purchased a Commemorative T-shirt all continue to make this event possible.

The Hamden Volunteer Firefighters Fireworks Committee wishes to thank the following for their contributions to the 25th Annual Fireworks display: Quinnipiac University and WQUN 1220 AM, Hamden Rotary Club, International Union of Operating Engineers Local 478, Hamden Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 2687, Hamden Miller Center Seniors, American Legion Post 88, Ryan Oil Co., Guymark Studios Inc., Spectrum Psychiatric Group, Hamden Fire Retiree’s Association, Nolan's Hamden Monument Co., Hamden Auto Body, Specialty Wire and Cord Sets Inc, Stop & Shop, Utility Communications, United Site Services, Warning Lights, Alphagraphics, Ray and Mike’s Deli, Bessette Lawn and Landscaping and Shop-Rite.
