The library will be temporarily closed for renovations.

HAMDEN, CT — Miller Memorial Library in Hamden will be closed to the public on Aug. 13 and Aug. 14, Mayor Curt Balzano Leng and Library Director Marian Amodeo announced in a press release.

“The library will be closed to provide a safe, unobscured working environment for contractors as they install replacement ceiling tiles throughout the facility,” according to the press release. “Work is expected to conclude on Aug. 14, and the Miller Library will re-open to the public the following day. (Aug. 15).”

Amodeo encourages the public to utilize the branch libraries located across Hamden in lieu of Miller Library. Hamden’s branch libraries will have additional staff on hand throughout this period and a list of locations is available below and on www.hamden.com.
