Lights for Liberty Rally and Vigil Friday Night, Hamden Town Hall

Join us on the steps of the Hamden Town Hall for a rally and candlelight vigil* to protest the inhumane conditions faced by refugees at the southern border of the U.S. We'll join others across the nation and the world in their vigils. #DontLookAway

This event is co-hosted by Yale Child Study Center, Yale Pediatrics, and the UUSC: Unitarian Universalist Service Committee representative team at Unitarian Society of New Haven.

Speakers will share their experiences from 8-9pm, following welcome remarks. Please check the discussion on this event for updates to the speaker list. At 9 p.m., we will join neighbors standing in other cities and towns around the world by creating a silent sea of candles* to light up the nation.
