Man, 19, Caught Burglarizing Law Office In Hamden: Police

The man was caught breaking into the law office early Sunday morning, according to police.

HAMDEN, CT — A 19-year-old New York resident was caught burglarizing a law office in Hamden early Sunday morning, according to police. At about 1:15 a.m. on Oct. 28, Hamden Police responded to Biller, Sachs, Raio and Zito Law Offices, 2750 Whitney Avenue, on the report of an activated burglar alarm, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Officer John Glass found a broken screen and window and then saw a white male walking in the basement. The suspect, later identified as Dillon Rispoli, emerged from the front of the business and was arrested, according to Smith.

Rispoli, 19, of Briarcliff Manor, New York, was charged with third-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief. Rispoli, who was detained at police headquarters on a $5,000 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Nov. 12.
