HAMDEN, CT — A Hamden man is accused of exposing himself to a woman while she was walking on Arch Street on Monday, according to police. The woman, a 40-year-old Hamden resident, was walking on Arch Street in the area of Fairview Avenue when she was approached by Andrew Porter, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Smith said Porter, who was seated inside of his motor vehicle, exposed his genitals, while asking the victim if she “wanted to watch.” Officer Ronald Glifort conducted the investigation, which led to Porter’s arrest, according to Smith.

Porter, 33, of Braeside Drive, was charged with public indecency and breach of peace. He was detained at police headquarters on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on March 20.
