Man Arrested On Child Pornography Charge: Hamden Police
The man is accused of possessing 5,500 images of child pornography, according to police.

HAMDEN, CT — A Hamden man was arrested after police say he was found to be in the possession of 5,500 images of suspected child pornography. An investigation was launched by Det. Shawn Nutcher, with the assistance of the Milford Police Department, in Sept. 2017.
Hamden Police executed a search-and-seizure warrant at an Oregon Avenue home on March 21, according to Capt. Ronald Smith. During the search, police seized multiple storage media devices, including computers.
Smith said while examining the items, police found 5,500 still image and movie files of suspected child pornography. Nutcher subsequently obtained an arrest warrant for Gino Jeanetti, who was arrested at his home on Monday, June 18, according to Smith.

Jeanetti, 27, of Oregon Avenue in Hamden, was charged with first-degree possession of child pornography. Jeanetti, who was detained on a court-ordered $35,000 bond, is scheduled to appear at Meriden Superior Court on July 6.
