Man Burglarized Elderly Relative’s Home: Hamden Police

Police say the man broke into an elderly relative's home and stole a credit card.

HAMDEN, CT — A Hamden man is accused of breaking into an elderly relative’s home and stealing a credit card, according to police. The burglary took place Sept. 3 on Mather Street.

Capt. Ronald Smith said an investigation found that Christopher Shultz forcibly entered the home of an elderly relative and stole a credit card.

Det. Joseph Liguori conducted an investigation that led to an arrest warrant for Shultz.

Shultz, 27, of Whitney Avenue, was arrested Oct. 2 at Meriden Superior Court and charged with second-degree burglary and theft of a credit card. He was arraigned later in the day.
