Man On Motorcycle Shot Victim Inside Car: Hamden Police
BREAKING: The accused was charged on a warrant this week and is being held in lieu of a $250,000 bond.

HAMDEN, CT — A New Haven man on a motorcycle is charged with shooting a man inside his car in Hamden, police said. On June 26, Hamden Police responded to the area of Warren and First streets on the report of shots fired. Moments later, officers found a 28 year-old New Haven resident that had been shot in the arm, police said. He was immediately transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital with serious injuries.
Investigation revealed that the victim was traveling in his vehicle, southbound on Warren Street, at which time Anthony Duncan, 31, of Rockview Circle, fired several gunshots from his motorcycle, police said. Duncan fled on First Street at a high rate of speed. Detective Sean Dolan conducted an investigation, which led to the application of an arrest warrant for Duncan, police said. The court approved the arrest warrant application.
On July 18, 2018 New Haven Police arrested Duncan. He was subsequently turned over to the custody of the Hamden Police Department. Duncan was charged with Assault in the 1st Degree, Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Carrying a Pistol without a Permit, Illegal Alteration of a Firearm and Reckless Endangerment in the 1st Degree.

Duncan was held in lieu of a $250,000 bond.
