Man Robbed Restaurant In Hamden: Police
Police say a customer struck the man with her purse in an attempt to stop the robbery.

HAMDEN, CT — A New Haven man is accused of robbing a restaurant in Hamden late last year. Police say OZ Korean Kitchen, located at 2775 Dixwell Ave., was robbed on Dec. 7 after Sean Kane approached an employee and asked for “change.”
The employee opened the cash register to assist Kane, who then attempted to steal the contents from the cash register, according to Capt. Ronald Smit.
Smith said the employee briefly struggled with Kane and a customer struck him with her purse in an attempt to stop him. Det. Matthew Barbuto conducted the investigation that led to an arrest warrant for Kane.
