Marijuana Grow Operation Found At Hamden Home: Police

Police said the resident was running a "sophisticated grow operation" at the home.

HAMDEN, CT — Police seized more than 9 pounds of marijuana from a home in Hamden on April 30, according to Capt. Ronald Smith. Lt. Gabriel Lupo and the Street Interdiction Team conducted a search-and-seizure warrant at a Town Walk Drive residence following an extensive drug investigation, according to Smith.

Smith said investigation revealed that the resident was running a “sophisticated grow operation.” Officers located 9.15 pounds of marijuana.

Police have submitted an arrest warrant application to the court for the homeowner, according to Smith.
