Mayor’s Budget Presentation Postponed In Hamden
Mayor Curt Balzano Leng's presentation for the proposed 2017-18 budget has been rescheduled due to expected inclement weather.
HAMDEN, CT — Due to expected inclement weather, Mayor Curt Balzano Leng will now present his proposed 2017-2018 budget to the Hamden Legislative Council on Thursday, March 16 at 6 p.m. at Memorial Town Hall, located at 2372 Whitney Avenue.
The original budget presentation had been scheduled for Wednesday night.
“I look forward to delivering my proposal to the Hamden Legislative Council, and I am hopeful that members of the public will attend and learn more about Hamden’s budget process,” Leng said in a statement. “It is my goal to ensure that Hamden remains on the path towards a secure and responsible financial future, and I am confident that my recommended budget for FY2017-2018 will accomplish these goals. I hope to see a great crowd on March 16th.”
