Miller Library To Offer Program On LinkedIn

The program will be held in early May.

From Hamden Library: On Wednesday, May 8th Miller Library will sponsor a workshop on using LinkedIn for both career development and small business expansion. The program will be held from 10:30 am until 12:00 noon in the Friends Room of Miller Memorial Central Library, 2901 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden. For both those looking for another position and for solopreneurs, identifying leads is essential. LinkedIn is considered the primary social media platform for Business to Business connections, with over 500 million global users.

During this interactive workshop Samantha Williams, owner of Sam’s Word, LLC will provide participants information concerning the best practices for incorporating into the user’s social media strategy to guarantee success with LinkedIn. Participants are encouraged to bring their mobile devices with the downloaded LinkedIn app to the program to obtain help with modifying their profile.

Samantha Williams is a content strategist with over twenty years of writing experience. She founded Sam’s Word in 2015, with the goal of alleviating the writing burden of business owners, and has completed projects of all scopes and sizes.
