Linda Beluk Kirby of Hamden, Connecticut (formerly Trumbull, CT) passed away at her home on Wednesday August 24, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband, James E. Kirby Jr, with whom she shared twenty three years of marriage and a lifetime of wonderful memories.
Linda and Jim were blessed with two beautiful children Allison Lynn Kirby and James Michael Kirby. Linda and Jim never missed an opportunity to celebrate Ali and Jimmo’s accomplishments whether on the baseball field, the basketball court or their many accomplishments throughout their young lives.

Linda is survived by her four sisters and brothers, Katherine Dummitt of Woodbridge, Michael Beluk of Stamford, Robert Beluk of Atlanta, and Meredith Clark of Chicago. In addition to her brothers and sisters she was blessed with nieces and nephews and her love for all of them was deeply genuine and real ; William and Jack Clark of Woodbridge, Lauren, Michael and Matt Beluk of Stamford, Calem, Skyler, and Jolee Beluk of Atlanta, Nicholas, Max, Andrew, and Elizabeth Clark of Chicago.
Before becoming disabled Lin enjoyed many happy years in the employ of Sacred Heart University. She was passionate about SHU and the team that she was a part of for so many years. The Sacred Heart University along with Quinnipiac University communities have provided unwavering love and support for the Kirby and Beluk families, and we wish to take this opportunity to thank them all from the bottom of hearts.

Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Saturday morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 11:00. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamden. The visiting hours will be Friday (TODAY) from 4 to 8 pm.
