Alberto "Albert" J. Stacey, Jr., 51, of Wallingford, passed away suddenly on December 17, 2016. Born in Colombia, South America on August 29, 1965 to Dolores Jimenez of Wallingford and the late Alberto Stacey, Sr.

Besides his mother, Albert leaves his sisters, Helen Pittman & her husband Kenny of Hamden, Amalia "Myle" Johnson & her husband Demetrius of Hamden; sister-in-law, Wendy Stacey of East Haven; nieces and nephews, Mackenzie & Jaelynn Pittman, Jordan & Olivia Stacey; great-nephew, Nathan Stacey; aunt, Rosie Merva; cousins, Joseph Merva & his wife Clara, and Olivia Merva. He was predeceased by his brother, William Stacey.

Albert grew up in Hamden, having moved to Wallingford 10 years ago. For the last 18 years he had been employed at Hamden Health Care as a CNA. He earned his Associate's Degree and was continuing his studies to become an RN at Goodwin College.

Albert was in the National Guard Reserve as an EMT for 13 years. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed the Peanuts and Marvel comics. Family was everything to Albert. He adored his nieces and nephews and was known for always being helpful whenever someone needed something.
