Obituary: Carolyn N. (Jaynes) Hunt, 77, of Hamden
Carolyn worked for the Unholtz Dickie Company in Wallingford 32 years. She was a fan of music and loved Science Fiction & Western movies.
HAMDEN, CT - (From Beecher and Bennett Funeral Home) Carolyn N. (Jaynes) Hunt, age 77, passed away at her home in Hamden on December 10th, 2020.
Carolyn was born in New Haven on July 14th, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Richard R. Jaynes & Mildred (Griffin) Jaynes.
Carolyn was also predeceased by her sister, Diane (Jaynes) Ledbetter and her brother, Richard Jaynes Jr. Carolyn is survived by her children; Kara Hunt, Cecelia Jaynes, and Sherry Ledbetter Harris, all of Hamden; and Christopher Hunt, Monique Ledbetter, and Rodney Jaynes, all of New Haven; sister, Ruth Jaynes of New Haven; brother, Harold E. Jaynes, Sr. of Hamden, and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Carolyn moved from New Haven to Hamden over 30 years ago.
She retired from Unholtz Dickie Company in Wallingford after giving 32 years of service.

Carolyn loved to watch Science Fiction & Western movies.
Her favorite music was reggae, rhythm and blues, and all gospel songs.
She will be tremendously missed by all of her family and friends.
Her Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, December 17th at 11:00 am in BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Avenue, Hamden. Mask and Social Distancing will be observed.
Burial will be private.
