Obituary: Claudio ‘Chuck’ F. Juliano, 79, of Hamden

Chuck was the garage foreman at the VA Hospital for 27 years until his retirement.

Claudio “Chuck” F. Juliano, 79, of Hamden, passed away on December 9, 2018 in his home. He was the husband of the late Marianne (Miceli) Juliano for 59 years. Born in New Haven on December 21, 1938, Chuck was son of the late Claudio T. and Felice Franco Juliano. He grew up in New Haven and moved to Hamden in 1964 after getting married. Chuck was the garage foreman at the VA Hospital for 27 years until his retirement. He was a very active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Hamden.

Chuck is survived by his sons Steven Juliano of Hamden, Richard Juliano (Christine) of Glastonbury; grandchildren Michael (Nickette) of Hamden, Derek (Apollonia) of West Haven, and Leah of Hamden; siblings Mary Ann Hande of Hamden, Carmela Attard (Salvatore) of Hamden, Gilda Wojcik of Wallingford, Thomas Juliano (Anna Mae) of East Haven, and Theresa DeNicholas of Cromwell. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Chuck’s family on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 885 Wintergreen Ave., Hamden. A memorial talk will take place at 4:00PM. Burial will be private.
