She was owner and operator of D'Andrea's Three Acres Motel in Woodbridge. Gloria also worked at Steinbach's Dept. Store in Hamden.

Gloria (D’Andrea) Ogonowski, 88, of Hamden, entered into eternal rest on Sunday February 19, 2017 at her home. Born on July 20, 1928 in New Haven, the daughter of the late Edward and Assunta (Mazzacane) D’Andrea.
The loving wife of the late Mitchell Ogonowski for 61 years. Cherished mother of Cathy (Michael) Hundley of IL and Dale “Dee-Dee” Ayotte of Woodbridge. Beloved grandmother of Gloria (Kevin) Monahan, Melissa (Adam) Bunch both of IL, Tanya Ayotte (fiancé Stephen Heller), Jeffrey Ayotte both of Woodbridge. Also survived by 2 great grandchildren Gianna and Maddox Bunch both of IL, and a host of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one sister Dorothy Clark, and 3 brothers Edward, Albert, and Eugene D’Andrea.

She was owner and operator of D'Andrea's Three Acres Motel in Woodbridge. Gloria also worked at Steinbach's Dept. Store in Hamden. She was a long time parishioner of Church of the Ascension in Hamden where she was a past president of the ladies guild.
Her funeral procession will leave Hamden Memorial, 1300 Dixwell Ave., on Friday February 24, 2017 at 9:30am. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Church of the Ascension, 1050 Dunbar Hill Rd., Hamden at 10 O’clock. Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at Hamden Memorial Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
