Obituary: Guetty Louis-Fin-Pelley, 39, of Hamden

She was a graduate of Sacred Heart University and worked as a community service representative for the State of Connecticut.

Guetty Louis-Fin-Pelley, 39, of Hamden, passed away on December 17, 2018 at Yale-New Haven Hospital after her courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Herbert Pelley. Guetty was born on March 25, 1979 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, daughter of Gean Guy Louis-Fin and Rose Touze. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart University and worked as a community service representative for the State of CT. Guetty was classy and elegant lady that enjoyed style and fashion. She especially loved to dance.

An amazing wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend, Guetty is survived by her children Tyanna Francois, and Dorian and Adrianna Pelley; 14 siblings including Guerline, Alland, and Johnny Louis-Fin, and Mardochay Tuck; many nieces and nephews including Jasmine, Jeremiah, and Justin Augustin; and also her soul sister. Guetty will be remembered for her generous, loving personality and her devotion to helping others. Even while battling cancer she was strong and wanted to help those around her that were struggling as well.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Guetty’s family on Saturday December 29, 2018 from 9:00 to 10:30AM at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Guetty at 11:00AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Hamden. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery, Hamden. Memorial donations in Guetty’s name may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244.
