Kevin Joel Strain Jr., 36, of New Haven formerly of Hamden, entered into eternal rest on Thursday May 2, 2019, at his home. Born on November 4, 1983 in New Haven, CT., son of Josephine “Joann” (Mastroianni) Cordero of Wallingford and Kevin Strain Sr. of FL.

Loving father Kevin Strain III of Bristol, Adriana Strain, Jessinna Strain both of Middletown, and Sophia Strain of Wallingford. Beloved brother Sherry Strain of Wallingford. Cherished uncle of Anthony DiGioia and Angel Garcia both of Wallingford. Beloved nephew of Theodora “Teddy” and Kevin Tarquino Sr. of Wallingford, Andrew Mastroianni, and George Mastroianni both of Hamden. Also survived by maternal grandmother Andrea Mastroianni of Hamden, stepfather Orlando Cordero of Wallingford, and cousins Kevin Tarquino Jr., Melissa Tarquino, Andrea Mastroianni, and Angela Mastroianni, and girlfriend Dawn Kearney of New Haven.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday May 10, 2019 at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home, 1300 Dixwell Avenue Hamden at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. Wake will be held on Thursday at Hamden Memorial from 4-7 p.m.
