Obituary: Marie Antoinette DeSanto, 75, of Hamden

Marie Antoinette Koukoulis DeSanto, 75, of Hamden, died July 29, 2018 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the widow of Albert "Sonny" DeSanto. Marie was born in New Haven, Feb. 6, 1943, the daughter of the late Stephen and Pasqualina Maccriello Koukoulis.

Marie was a beautiful woman inside and out. Her heart was unlike anyone else's. She loved to cook, spend time with her grandkids and great-grandkids, and she loved to laugh with her family and friends. She had a personality that will absolutely never be forgotten.

Marie may not be with us here right now, but she's within all the hearts she's touched throughout her life. She is survived by her daughters, Michelle DeSanto and Crystal Hodder, sister of Carrie Esposito (Nick) and the late James Koukoulis, grandmother of Lena, Brittany, Austyn and Alysia and great grandchildren Kamari, Richard Jr., & McKenna.
