Nicholas G. Liguori Jr., 89, of Hamden, passed away Sept. 28, 2016. Beloved husband of Phyllis Martino Liguori. Loving father of Nicholas G Liguori, III (Karen) of Hamden and Leslie Alt (Bill) of Southington, brother of Mary Yacono of Hamden.
Also survived by his cherished grandchildren Kate Giamattei, Bill Alt, Nicholas Liguori, IV, Brandon Liguori, Alicia Liguori, great grandchildren Will Giamattei, James Giamattei, and a dear cousin Jack Codeanne. Predeceased by a sister Phyllis Festa.

Nick was born in New Haven October 12, 1926 son of the late Nicholas G. and Theresa Nichols Liguori, Sr. He proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy. Prior to his retirement he worked for the Asbestos Workers Union Local 33. Mr. Liguori was a graduate of Quinnipiac University, former President of the Fathers Club at Sacred Heart and former President of the Knights of Columbus Carmel Council.
His funeral will leave Sisk Brothers Funeral Home 3105 Whitney Ave. Hamden Saturday at 9:30 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial in Centerville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Jude's Children's Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
