Ronald “Wayne” Matheney Richardson Jr., 37, was born and raised in New Haven, CT. On November 19, 1980. Ronald a.k.a. Riggs attended Eli Whitney and Hamden High School. He worked as a Car Attendant at Pro Parking and he worked at Ferraros Food cart as a cook, he named the burgers after the “G” burgers which is formally known as Franklin Street Properties (Ghetto).
Ronald loved playing basketball and he extremely loved riding dirt bikes. He loved to spend time with his daughters and family. He also enjoyed talking and making people laugh. He loved to get his hair braided and loved to eat.

Ronald had a smile that no one will ever forget. He was very charming and as most people would say a standup guy. Riggs is loved and will be truly missed. He was predeceased by his Mother Sylvia Matheney-Richardson, Grandmothers Francis Elizabeth Matheney and Carol Diane Richardson, Grandfather Oscar Matheney, and Aunts Francis “Poochie” Matheney, Sherry “Peanut” Matheney, Jennifer Francis-Richardson. He is survived by his daughters Roniece and Ranajah Richardson of New Haven, CT. He leaves his father Ronald “Wayne” Richardson Sr. (Mattie McFadden-Richardson) of Hamden, CT. His sisters Tamara and Renee Richardson of Hamden, CT. His grandfather Harold Victor Richardson, of Pasadena, CA. He leaves one niece Cara Trajeski and two nephews Marquies and Marcus Drayton of CT. He leaves a host of relatives and friends to cherish his memories.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday January 12, 2018 in Trinity Church on the Green, 230 Temple St, New Haven at 11 O’clock. Viewing in Church from 9-11am.
