Package Thief Sought In Hamden: Police

HAMDEN, CT — Police are asking for help with identifying a man accused of stealing a package off of a front porch Tuesday afternoon in Hamden. Police responded to a Belmont Street home at about 12:45 p.m. on May 14 on the report of a theft, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Smith said investigation revealed that an individual, described as a white male in his 60s with white hair, white mustache, wearing black or blue jeans stole a package off of the front porch. Officers believe that the man was following a delivery truck prior to the theft, according to Smith.
