Parking Ban Remains in Effect in Hamden
With more snow in the forecast, the parking ban has been extended.

HAMDEN, CT — Hamden's Parking Ban will remain in effect until further notice due to the prediction of more inclement weather, officials announced on Friday evening.
Also, Hamden Town Government Offices (not including Police and Fire) will be closed Monday, February 13th in observance of Lincoln’s Birthday. Hamden Public Libraries will be open.
The parking ban prohibits any person to park, or allow to remain parked, any vehicle on any odd numbered portion of a town street or highway.

The ban further prohibits any person to allow or permit a vehicle to stand or park on any Town street or highway in such a manner as to constitute a hazard or obstruction to vehicular or pedestrian traffic.
The Hamden Police Department is authorized, pursuant to Section 71.07 of the Code of the Town of Hamden, to remove any vehicle parked in violation of this ordinance. Such removal shall be at the risk and expense of the owner of the vehicle.
