Police Search for 13-Year-Olds Missing from Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — Silver Alerts have been issued for two 13-year-old boys who were reported missing from Hamden on Thursday, Oct. 13.

Police said Kevin Russell is an endangered runaway and Deyvone Mims was also reported missing. It wasn’t immediately clear if the teens were expected to be together.

Russell is described as a black male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5-feet, 3-inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants with white letters down the right pant leg and white sneakers.

A photo wasn’t provided.

Mims is described as a black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5-feet, 3-inches tall and weighs 131 pounds.

There was no description available for the last clothes he was seen wearing and a photo wasn’t provided.
