Police Search For Mother, Infant Reported Missing From Hamden
A Silver Alert was issued for the baby on Thursday night after police received a report that the mother hadn't been seen in over a month.

HAMDEN, CT — Police are searching for a mother and her infant son who have had no contact with a program manager for more than a month, according to police. Hamden Police were contacted regarding a missing person(s) report at about 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, according to Sgt. Anthony Diaz.
Diaz said investigation revealed that a program manager for Corie Riaz, 40, of Morse Street in Hamden, was concerned for her well-being as she has not been seen or heard from in more than a month. The Department of Children & Families has been contacted, according to Diaz.

Riaz is described as a white female with blonde hair and blue eyes. She is 5-feet, 1-inch tall. Her infant son, Kaleb Christensen, 13 months old, is described as a white male with blonde hair and blue eyes. He is 2-feet tall and weighs 20 pounds.
A Silver Alert was issued for Kaleb on Thursday night. Diaz said police were unsuccessful in locating Riaz and her infant son.

The Special Victims Unit is continuing the investigation, according to Diaz.
Diaz said police have “no pertinent information at this time to believe that either person is in danger.”
